The property was donated by Dr. Howard A. Kelly for use as a public park and wildlife preserve.  It’s home to Rock Springs, an amazing fast-flowing, crystal-clear spring.  The spring starts out in a small cave in the side of a rock face, and flows more than 26,000 gal per minute. The landscape is stunning, with a canopy of oaks and palms overhead and rock outcroppings that reach out into the stream.
